I must say prior to the screening that I attended, I was very apprehensive that I was going to see a product that resembled a "Nine" / "Coyote Ugly" blend of a film, but I was certainly wrong. His performance in "Lovely Bones" is still haunting and his role as Cher's right-hand gay best friend/costume designer in this film just shows what incredible range this actor has.

Doch ähnlich wie im vergangenen Jahr bei „Nine" hat es auch nach den ersten Vorführungen von „Burlesque" nicht lange gedauert, bis die Award-Rufe (mit Ausnahme der Kategorien „Beste Musik" und „Beste Kostüme") wieder verstummten.
